Contact Form Problem

Hi all, the contact form of my webpage: Contact stopped sending messages, I don’t know since when because I was informed recently by a customer. No configuration was changed by my side and the email is working well (sending and receiving emails) except when I try to send emails through my webpage. I do use Hostinger email. I would appreciate any idea about what could being happening.

I’m sure your Sparkle contact form is not the problem but your host is.
A new authorisation security level has been implemented worldwide breaking email sends if the receiving email server cannot identify/authorise your sending email server.

I would suggest to talk to Hostgator and ask them if your email server you are using has been authorised. You can also check this through your cPanel if you have access to one. Hostgator has something on it - https://www.hostgator.com/help/article/using-dkim-with-third-party-dns

Thanks for your answer. Just to clarify, the hosting I’m using for the webpage is https://www.hostinger.com/ and the webmail is also Hostinger but with my domain.

Sorry for the misread of your hosting server, my bad! :frowning:
But all in all it would be the same. Your email hosting server has to be verified via the authorisation process mentioned in the link of my previous post…

Since your email is handled by outlook/office365 what you need is to use “Use custom SMTP server” instead of “Email via web server”, and enter the server and credentials of the outlook service, just like the configuration you have on your desktop email.

Thank you @FlaminFig and @duncan. I made the changes to the DNS and configure a custom SMTP server on my website. I will wait some hours until finish the DNS propagation and I will back with you to comment the result.

The changes recommended worked. Now I can receive messages again. Thank you!
