Is it possible to have a hover on an image show a different image? I have a book cover image on my site and I want site visitors to be able to hover over it to see a different book cover image. If that’s not possible, anyone know another way to have same effect? I’m attempting to use a website for a demo for a group.
You could use a Button, and place the original image in the Button as a Background.
On choosing that setting on the button you will see further down that you can swap out the image on the hover state… Give that a try and see if it works for you in what you want to achieve…
There is another way and that is using Sitely’s Popups which you can use with the Image element. In this case it is an On Click event.
I’m hoping one day we can do this as well with an Image widget!

I think this effect is usually known as a rollover and it’s something I have long wanted to see added to Sparkle/Sitely.
The button does do that.
