Getting a strange Menu issue after recently updating my site.
Had been set up as hamburger with vertical submenu on- PC’s landscape tablets & Portrait smartphones Device Layouts. But now this only functions as it should on tablets and phones. On both the Mac and PC platform the hamburger icon is replaced with a panel showing the first menu item.
Created new menus, but get the same error.
Resorted to a standard horizontal menu meantime, which works ok.
Just thought I’d put this up if I’m missing something obvious or it’s potentially a v7 glitch?
I’ve been unable to recreate the issue. If I add a hamburger menu to the page, it displays the same on all devices. Maybe you can provide a screenshot of the Style Panel Settings for both the desktop version and the smartphone/tablet version. That may give us an indication of what is happening.
I still cant recreate the Issue - however, I think there may be a glitch in V7. The screenshot of the style panel below (on my system) shows that there is something missing. It seems to be missing the border settings, as well as the rounding settings. Not sure why that is - perhaps @duncan can shed some light on this. Anyway, I’m not sure that has anything to do with your issue, but because I can¡t replicate it - I think you should upload your Sitely file to swisstransfer and send a link to support. That may be the quickest way to solve the problem.
Edit: Just noticed that the border and rounding options seem to appear sporadically depending if one of the menu Items is selected . Also noticed that some of the menu items disappear when selecting different items for editing. So, I’m thinking there may be a more general bug in the menu component could be affecting users in different ways. Hopefully, Duncan may see this and investigate further,
Edit 2: Just installed the latest update (Sept 1st 2026) and the rounding, border and style setting appear to have been fixed. It may be worth updating your Sitely app to the very latest, and see if that solves our issue.
