All your sites look very nice! I had a question regarding the animated walking waitress on the garganta site. What format is she in? I didn’t think we could use a transparent background on an animating graphic like an .apng or a .gif. and have some similar animating items I would like to use.
Very inspiring!
Thanks,
Madeline

Hey everyone! This is my first post, so please be kind. I’m thrilled to showcase my design agency and the amazing website that Sparkle created for us. I’d love for you to check it out and spread the word. Thanks so much!

Kinda overwhelming. How does one stop the flashing images? Kindly, I don’t think it’s right to open the user’s mail application to contact you. Give them a form of some type to submit via your mail system. This is particularly distressing on my Mac with auxiliary screens, or capable of split screen, to have my mail app forced to open frontmost without my authorization and mess up the desktop. Can’t predict what it will do on a device that doesn’t have a mail app!

I can really tell you have put a real lot of work into your website… layout is consistent and well thought out, including your case studies!

Just a few things if I may…

  • You have a grammar thing going on, please see attached…
  • I found that with some heavy loading images that it took some time to load - might be a server thing?
  • I noticed not all your client’s logos are linked?
  • Have you Automatically Scaled for mobile rather then Custom Layout? For me the experience on mobile is totally opposite to the great experience I have on desktop/tablet
  • And yes, for me it is a bit of a shocker when I click “Contact” and my Mail application launches. Is there a reason you have gone this way?

Anyways a really great example in how we can push the “almighty Sparkle”!!!

I’m not entirely sure what the site is aiming to showcase. While it features prominent organizations like Microsoft, Google, and others in the digital space, it doesn’t seem to say much about Crony Design itself. From a web marketing perspective, the site misses some key elements. When visitors land on the homepage, there’s nothing that immediately explains who you are, what you do, or why they should care. The messaging isn’t clear, and it’s not obvious what action users are expected to take next - it feels more like guesswork.

If I had come across the site through a general search, I’m afraid I’d probably leave quickly. While pushing boundaries in design is great, if there’s no clear purpose, it’s unlikely visitors will spend time exploring. Additionally, the email link doesn’t serve as an effective call-to-action. It opens the user’s email client, but there’s no strong reason provided for why they should reach out—nothing stands out to encourage engagement, especially amidst the flashing images.

Speaking of which, the full-screen flashing visuals create an impression that the site is complete, almost as if there’s nothing more to explore. If I were a commissioning client reviewing this, I’d likely suggest going back to the drawing board to refine its purpose and user experience. Just my thoughts!
