I mean, i don’t know the purpose of the Cash App site apart from being institutional. This is a service that is now part of the mobile generation, so their website doesn’t have as much use as their app. But it does look great thou, I like this brutalist style of web design.
That was precisely my take on it, the graphics and the layout are very much bold and in your face. Not exactly sure I like that approach but as you say since it’s already an established institution in the financial world the website is really more than just a placeholder to say hi we exist.
But there are some elements that intrigued me that I might incorporate into my own site. We’ll see. Thanks for chiming in.
also, did you do it first on Figma? it look so good that I think its the best website that I ever saw made with sitely (sparkle)
@soygrafico this is a website not made by Sitely, but you are right… it has been done really well.
The graphics are leaning towards what Microsoft is doing with their branding - somewhat brutalist and the emphasis on bold with a very young persons’ vibe. Also love the mega-menu.
All of this website is doable in Sitely except for the horizontal scroll canvas carousel. Something I’m really looking froward to in the next big iteration!

That’s not my site at all, I just wanted opinions on the design because there’s some things about it I like. I have no idea who did the site for cash app but it’s a very interesting and forceful layout.
