Why is this greyed out on some groups and some not?
The option to show an element in pages of the page group is only available for pages that are within a page group, not for pages that are at a top level.
Additionally only top level elements can have a multipage visibility setting. An element inside a group or layout block follows the settings of the container.

I see that on the sidebar that pages in question are NOT in the group created. Just looks that way. They were sitting on the top level which explains the issue. Once i dragged them to the group they fell in to the desired spot and the “pages in page group” is now visible again. Thanks.
