What I wish to find under my Sitely X-mas tree

Dear Santa that work for Sitely,
I know it is June and you have so much to do to develop your software, but… Because I didn’t use complicated CMS software to design, due to the fact that I love to do my own personal design (even if they sucks, but it is another story), because I felt in love with you software years ago (formerly Sparkle 2.something), Maybe you could consider some ideas for next release:

  • Superpowered vertical and horizontal grid with the ability for the element to stick to that
  • Mighty vertical and horizontal guidelines
  • Amazing improved swatchpanel to define my color palette (or many different color palletes)
  • A magic color picker, just to sample colors around my screen
  • Improved text styles palette, to edit my textstyle before using text boxes)
  • The fantastic “fit screen height” flag/button
  • Jarvis and Ironman would like to interact automatically with SEO
  • The fantastic resources panel, where all the graphics attached to my project (and the HD path) are displayed.
  • The powerful “collect for my archive” button, so my graphics, my resources and font would be collected to a single folder for future re/ab use.
  • Font menu management 2.0 reloaded (the old one is a lil’ bit chaotic)
  • OK, Sketch, Ok Figma… Why not PenPot?
  • A tiny, pretty, sweet carousel for logos or other graphics

I know it is a lot of stuff, but I am also sure more than something is on your roadmap.

Thanks for your time and attention.

Bye!

Grazie Gianni. We’re hard at work but these always help.

I hadn’t heard of Penpot, but I’ve had a play with it to see how it compares. Other then totally free and totally opensource, the UI is very intuitive and better laid out then Figma. Figma is slightly ahead with baked in functionality, but from what I see Penpot is very active in catching up.

So not bad at all and it is a +1 from me!
