I have a problem with the font “Arial Black.” The website uses this font. On desktop, as well as in the preview in Sitely (desktop and smartphone), it is displayed correctly. However, on an actual smartphone the font is not displayed properly.
Did I overlook something?
If I cannot find another solution, I will convert this font into vectors. But maybe one of you has another idea.
All looks correct on any desktop browser but not on iPad, iOS or Android mobile.
Is it possible you haven’t set the font style correctly on the Sitely mobile device? If you have styled it on desktop it would have carried across to mobile, but if you did not style it then on mobile it will likely not matched unless you do so manually.
But if that is not the case, then it is possible there might be a bug? Then it would be best to contact @duncan, sending him across your project and explain the situation… at feedback@sitely.app
@FlaminFig Thank you very much for your message. I have tried all sorts of things. I have now contacted Duncan and sent him the file. Perhaps he may be able to spot a bug.
In theory the font exists on iOS, but it’s a system font, not a web font. I can’t really explain why it would work in preview but not in the published website, can really only ascribe it to iOS quirks.
I’d suggest using a webfont instead for general text use. But the alterantive of making an SVG is likely the best option in your case, as it appears the use is confined to the logo, which probably needs to have that exact look.
