Built Overnight with Sitely

Only with Sitely could I build a website like this overnight. When clients thank me for my speed, I always pass that gratitude along to the Sitely team—shoutout to Duncan and Daniele—for creating this incredible app. Check out the result: tsegasisterhood.org!

You’ve must have done an all-nighter?
As always a well and graphically engaging website, and love the colours… well done!

The only thing…
I was initially confused with your main navigation… The About link goes to the top of the About page, and then the Mission link goes to the same page slightly a bit lower. Would it be better to have an About statement to define the About page and then move onto the mission section?

Nathan,

Small navigation errors aside, it’s probably one of the best sites I’ve ever seen regardless what platform it was built on. Fantastic colors/scheme, great visual layout; enaging without going over the top with animations etc.
Good job.

That’s excellent work, especially for a site built in just one night!

As Flaminfig mentioned, having the “About” and “Mission” buttons leading to almost the same place is a bit confusing. However, what bothers me the most are all the animations—I feel like there are a few too many, making the page a bit too dynamic. But that’s just my personal opinion.

Normally I’d agree with you, since most designers get too excited about making a webpage behave more like a video.
But in this case I think animations are well-placed and help bring attention to things that need the viewers direct attention so they “get the message”.
Specifically the group of hands “waving” back and forth - brilliant use of motion, and a natural for what we’d expect people to do with raised hands - wave them!!

It’s a great presentation, 5-Stars Nathan.

Beautiful site! Love the menu. Did you code anything?

FOR DUNCAN:

Can I build something like this in my V.4 copy or do I need to upgrade to V…5!!!

No codes. It’s all Sitely.

At a quick glance it seems it should be mostly stuff that was introduced in v4 or earlier, but the devil is in the details!

And why would you skimp on the upgrades anyway

Pfftt… not skimping the upgrades my friend, I’m rebuilding my company ground-up after covid forced me to shutdown. So right now it’s all about budgetary decisions: What’s top priority, etc. I’m still acquiring necessary hardware like a camera I can “live with” for now, lenses, lighting, battery systems, camera supports… the whole enchilada. So if I can build my new company site on V.4 great.

But when it’s time to start working on bringing the motorcycle show back, you bet it’ll be on V.5 and every upgrade after because that’s far more important than just my company site alone. In fact, the primary goal is to get back to work in production so I can put those profits towards resurrecting the show. Nothing else has higher priority - other than my health and replacing my Ducati I was t-boned on last year! hahaha

Hey Nathan awesome website! It happens to me the same!! is a tool so powerful that I don’t know why is still kind of underground! I also made this website like in a 12 hours or so… https://cycloneparts.com

If skimped on updates then only build your website what your old version can deliver, don’t build something what the newest updates only can do.
In comparison to battery systems, camera supports, … Sitely makes only a small percentage.
Many make the mistake to see a website builder as an expense, see it as an investment, if you use Sitelty for your business then technically Sitely is able to bring you customer with a superb desinged website made with the newest udates.
