Perhaps I am missing something because it seems this should be simple?
Is there a convenient way within Sparkle to have a button copy the current URL to share? Perhaps someone can suggest a better method?

The system sharing can do that. That said it’s easy enough to add in Sparkle, so thanks for the heads up.

RE System Share & Copy Link: Exactly! It initially puzzled me when seeing “Copy Link”. Perhaps system sharing is unknown to a sufficient number of users? Or maybe it is simply a matter of convenience?
Whoa, I just saw “System Sharing” under Click-on > Share This Page. I’ve been hoping for that feature for a while. Sorry I missed its addition. When was it added?

Is it possible to define what is the sharing URL?
Like this inspector shows, it’s “Share this page”, so it’s the URL to the current page.
I would love to see a few more options here like Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and maybe Threads. These ones are more orientated towards the younger generations.

Instagram and TikTok are pretty much closed off to the web. Pinterest seems to have an API, could be explored. Threads is another Meta property and frankly Meta in general is very hostile, I wouldn’t bet on anything good there.

Though it would be great if we could get Pinterest onboard. I have a number of clients that swear by Pinterest; the visual search engine platform.
