I’m a real amateur/novice when it comes to website creation, it’s not my profession (or even hobby) and am only using it to make websites for two of my businesses, https://crits.online being one of them.
My other site (my architectural practice) was made in iWeb many years ago, and ever since that was ditched by Apple, I could not find anything else as easy to use (despite trying quite a few apps over the years).
And then I was referred to ‘Sparkle’. Just, wow!!
Of course, this kind of software has, by necessity, become a lot more complex to manage this increased depth of the web (well beyond my comprehension!) and multitude of devices displaying the pages, and I had expected that - but, somehow, Sparkle remains so intuitive and easy to use, certainly for a basic user creating simple sites.
When trying it out, what I hadn’t anticipated was the level of support and response by the developers. I run quite a lot of software, mostly for drawing and 3D modelling and nothing comes even close, not even at 10x the price point!
Really, a huge shout out to not only Duncan and the Sitely team, but also to the many constant collaborators, advisors, and sages on the forum.
Simply, spectacular!!
