Dumb license question

I’m running Sitely Pro 6.2.2 and was looking at the upgrade path to 7 (coming soon)
I tried the “Upgrade Now” drop down to see what cost etc. and it tells me I have a Sitely Pro 5.x license! hmmm thought I had v6?

Just a bit confused - if I only have v5x how can I be running v6x?
Also there’s only a fixed upgrade amount listed - and no special offers as per today’s email blast. Is there an upgrade specials page somewhere?

Hi @KoKo,

we separate the software version from the license version. You can use older licenses for newer software. That’s why the About window has one line for the software version, and one line for the license version.

So yes, with a 5.x license you need to upgrade for v6 (and v7) features.
