Footer dissapears after publishing (SOLVED)

I had a lot of problems today and it is still not solved.
First I had problems publishing which I could last week.
Today nothing of it.
In the end I published through Filezella and it worked.
Happy dance!
Until I looked at the live site.
This is the site:
https://theheartwork.nl
One moment, please... (this one is working properly, without my adjustments)

Any suggestion is welcome.
What am I missing?

I had Clean my Mac installed and with help from @duncan it was solved.
Thank you for the support.

Hi @Swedutch :wave:t2:

Your CSS file, which is used for styling the elements on the page, is missing from your CSS folder. Each time you export your site, Sitely generates a new .css file located in the folder with the same name. Make sure to replace the previous one with the new one every time.
If you only modify one page of your site, still transfer all the pages of your site. FileZilla will offer to replace pages with the same name that have a different modification date or size. Choose this option to avoid re-downloading all your site’s files and images, and instead only transfer those that have been modified since the last publication.

Regarding the issue with publishing directly from Sitely, have you changed your FTP settings or made any changes on your server?

Thank you for your kind words!

The problem is that Sitely is not publishing everything to my disk and I do not know how to go about it.

Just a question…
Are you looking at your site from macOS Finder and comparing it to what you have uploaded to your hosting server?

I don’t really understand your question.
Sitely is not publishing to disk properly.
It is hard to see what Sitely uploads in finder.
What I have in finder I uploaded to my hosting server.
I made now a coming soon page on Wooltops.se and text and footer is not showing. I find it very strange. If you want a copy I am happy to share.

What I’m getting at is that your use the term “publishing to disk”. That means to me you are exporting your Sitely website to your local disk, in other words to your macOS Finder. If you are doing that and viewing what you have on disk in the browser (any browser) then certain things won’t work.

If you are uploading your generated website from your local disk (Finder) to your hosting server via Filezella then that is where @Allan feedback comes into it. Any changes you make in Sitely, export it your local drive, upload it your hosting server will need you to also overwrite the CSS file on the hosting server for everything to be up to date and work correctly.

If you are having issues using Sitely’s Publish, then it would be best to have a chat to @duncan at feedback@sitely.app explaining the issue.

Hi,
I now understand what you are saying now.
And I do know that I have to overwrite CSS so I empty my folder every single and Sitely is not publishing everything to my disk.
I have that problem with two websites on different hosts.
I will send @duncan an e-mail. Thank you
