I have 11 websites using Sitely. I am not able top get reports from Google Analytics from 3 of those websites. I have used the appropriate Google Measurement ID just as I have for the other 7 websites, yet I get messages from Google that the 3 are not receiving data. Help please.

Sitely has built-in GA support, and importantly, it now integrates Google Analytics with its Consent Mode 2/privacy system.

The most likely cause

The three sites have different privacy/consent settings

This would be my first thing to check.

Sitely can prevent Analytics from loading until the visitor has given the appropriate consent. If the privacy configuration on those three sites differs from your working sites, Analytics may appear to be completely dead.

In particular, compare:

  • Site Settings / Privacy
  • Whether Privacy Support is enabled
  • Whether the cookie/consent banner is enabled
  • Whether Analytics is included in the consent options
  • Whether the visitor has actually accepted Analytics cookies

Sitely specifically says that its privacy system controls whether third-party content is unblocked and passes the user’s choices through to Google Analytics using Consent Mode 2.
