How to structure a catalog

Hi, I’m migrating a record-label website from Sandvox to Sitely (RIP Sandvox :smiling_face_with_tear:). I’m at the stage where I need to figure out how to show the catalog, sorted by artist, by genre, and by catalog number. I would like to use the album cover images as clickable indexes. Some here have implied that it’s possible to attach a URL to images using the image grid; I can’t find a way to do that.

Meanwhile, I don’t understand the layout grid function. When I select one grid and add an image, that image populates all the grids – so I can’t really figure out if this would be a useful option.

Also, a table is apparently out of the question. I tried an embed script, but once again, even if I were to use this super-clunky option, I don’t see a way to add a URL to each table entry.

HELP!?

Hi @tomberge, Sitely doesn’t have a way to dynamically rearrange the content of the grid once it’s published.

About the grid setting, the background image you’re setting is common to all cells. You need to add an image element in the cell to achieve what you want there.
