I know blogs have been discussed but

I have been working with a number of different website builders over the years, including iWeb, Sandvox and most recently Rapid Weaver, and I have been able to construct a basic blog for sites I have produced, even though I do not have PHP available available at my host (AAISP). I want to stick with my hosts of twenty years and to try to manage without PHP but when importing sites with blogs they get a bit mangled in that area. I wondered if anyone has a good design work round they can suggest. Even if it means constructing the blogs in a form of long hand in a continuous scroll on a dedicated page… Also, is there a blog component available in Sitely which can work without PHP being available? Sorry if this has already been discussed to death and I missed it.

Welcome onboard @Wabisabi :waving_hand:

I must say it is strange to hear a host not supplying PHP on their platform. From what I understand Sitely uses PHP to make the experience of creating a blog non repetitive and a few other things. I don’t think there is a workaround with Sitely unless you manually create your blog pages.

You could investigate what they call flat-file databases. This doesn’t use sever side script like PHP, and you can embed it into Sitely…
