I’ve been using Sparkle for years and love it. Just now I tried to do an update on a page that was published years ago and for some reason when I publish only the first part of one of the pages shows up. I see the menu header and the first 2 or 3 photos and one text box, everything else doesn’t show. Now it is out there and I can’t get back to my working website. Help! https://www.friendsoftherialto.org. I have checked and rechecked the file in Sitely, it looks good for all devices, and previews just fine. If you check out the page you will notice that some of the menu links work and some don’t. The broken ones all go to lower in the main index page, the working ones go to separate pages.
Not sure if it connected or not, but the internal Sitely publisher is also not working for me so I am saving file to desktop and using FileZilla to upload. When I click on the index file before uploading I see that it also is missing most of that page.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I have a broken site and am planning a big event!
I think the quickest way @EONorton is to manually remove your Sitely website from your hosting platform and republish. From what I’m seeing a number of your stylesheets are missing in action.
Also are you updated to the latest Sitely?
Hi @EONorton,
if that website is manually uploaded, then the missing content is the result of an incomplete upload. I assume this is the case due to the publishing issues you are seeing. To fix it ensure you are not uploading just the individual page or files you think need uploading, but the whole export folder. You can use the synchronization feature of most FTP apps to upload changed files only, but again applied to the whole export folder.
