I been in business of importing several webpages, and after some work, the application hangs, stutters…
I could not understand why until I remember how annoying and slow it is to work with Menu dropdown on header. When you import a page, Menu changes, adds the page and goes buggy. (it changes position and removes some pages, ie, it lives its own life)
Once I removed it, Sitely was cured and flies smoothly. The menu bar is the last thing I will add to my site before publish.
Just a heads up to developers of this site.
Hey @Axemaster, I take it you have translated your post into english?
I’ve read it twice and I’m not getting it.
Are you saying the menu of your website that you are importing into Sitely is slowing down Sitely?
I’m thinking if it is a “bug” issue, it would be best to mention this to @duncan on feedback@sitely.app explaining what is happening and all…
Nah I write in English
Yeah it’s behaving radically when I import pages. It moves from top right in the header to down left. It purges all that it is suppose to show and shows what it want to show.
I also find it sluggish to set up when I do that too. Could be since I have several sections and several pages in there. Anyway, I will set it up at the very end.
BTW… I see there is a “Exclude from Menus” under Metadata
If it is what I think it is, the Menu will not show this page at all when ticked correct?
Yes @Axemaster, that’s correct. The page will not show in the menu.
