I solved this, but it’s a tiny pain (one extra step in the process). Preview in Safari won’t work unless the warning tick box for non-secure site (HTTP) connections in unchecked. Of course I normally have that checked in the event I run across a non HTTPS site. (as a precautionary measure to look twice).
If someone discovers their Sitely Safari Preview shows up blank - this is the probable culprit!
