Hi, just to tell that you are not alone and that I’ve got sometimes (not so rarely) the same bug. And that’s frustrating…

Hi Seb,
Thnx for your reply.

Do you know some sort of “workarround”? or is it yust pray it won’t happen?

Mario

No, unfortunately don’t know any workaround.

@mariodeprisco, Could you please further explain. I’m not getting “My pages are ok until a sudden point and then all pages are thery long”? What action(s) did you take before your pages became very long?

What I have found is, when I copy an element from another page let’s say, then paste it into different page, it seems to do this. Perhaps taking on the page length of the page copied from? Sometimes it makes the page extremely long, takes an effort to drag the footer all the way back up. Being able to define page length might help.

Hello @mariodeprisco

I agree with @FlaminFig, if you could give us further information about what exactly is happening and maybe add a screenshot or two, we could better evaluate your problem and maybe help.

So thank you if you could give us more details.

Hello Shadowfax, at this moment (April 2025!!!) I still experience the same problem.
Very irritating. Does somebody know how to solve this?

You might have a hidden element, but with not enough information I think it would be best just to have a quick chat with @duncan at feedback@sitely.app

You know you can just go to the bottom of the page and double click the bar at the bottom and it will blouse the space up. I spent ages dragging pages back up until I realised this.

Yes, it’s very handy… as long as there’s no invisible element in the way.

The original message mentioned being unable to change the page height, and as @FlaminFig rightly pointed out, it’s often caused by an invisible element, like a popup or something hidden on the current device layout. In those cases, you unfortunately have to manually move those hidden elements up, and then remove the empty space, on every affected page. Hopefully one day Sitely will handle these invisible elements more efficiently. :crossed_fingers:t2:

Yes,I realised that. I only mentioned it, just in case, once you’ve found it, it might save you a lot of time dragging them all back up again – or perhaps, it’s only me that was dumb enough to be doing that until I realised! Hope you find the culprit.
