Publish isn't publishing my changes

I made some minor changes to my website, including updating what happens when a button on the Home page is clicked and inserting some Back to Top links on other page. Sitely says “Publishing complete” but several of the changes have not been implemented and some pages that were working fine are now showing Error 404.
I am confused, because the changes I made were quite minimal. When I go back to edit the site again, I check and see all the changes have been made correctly. Everything looks good. I publish again, and the result is the same. The button on the Home Page goes to the wrong place, some pages show Error 404 (only sometimes - going elsewhere and back to the same page sometimes causes it to display, but without the Back to Top links that I added. ) Several pages are missing the Back to Top link that is clearly showing when editing in Sitely.
Site is lorrainecobcroftauthor.au
Thank you for any suggestions that might enable me to fix this.

EDIT: I checked the files on my website and they are all correctly stamped with the date and time of the update, and I looked at the code and it is correct. So I then tried viewing in another browser. I usually use Safari. When I viewed in Google Chrome, everything looked correct so obviously it is not a Sitely error. Now I’m trying to find how to clear the cache in Safari to see if that might be the issues.

This is usually a cache issue on your computer. Open your site in Safari and then click the page refresh option whilst holding down the shift key. This should force Safari to load the page again from your server instead of loading from cache.

Thank you Stephie. You are right. It was a cache issue. I eventually resolved it after asking Google for instructions to clear it, but your method is very much simpler and easier to remember, so thanks so much.
