In a single page scrolling site I can’t get the locations to actually line up. So when I press a menu item say media…it jumps to that area but everything is askew! When I get one to match up perfectly, the others are nuts. Tried using the block method instead of those pesky locator bars…but yikes.
HELP.
From your description @Girlwerks, I’m not totally sure what you are getting at?
Maybe a link to your website where we can see the issue in action?
Or are you getting at that you are overshooting where you you think you should be because you haven’t accounted for the navigation bar’s height?

Thank for the reply Fig…I got so frustrated that I turned it into a menu driven one and it actually looks nicer. Went down a rabbit hole trying to find info on how to actually get them to work properly. My issue was when I put in a locator it either jumped way above or askew to the page I was trying to get to…no matter where I put it.. and then would knock off the next one… I’ll try doing a test site to see if I can get it right. IS there any documentation where it shows how to place these correctly? When you press contact it should jump down to the page area for that menu item and so on.
I so appreciate any input on how to make this work.
This sounds really strange? I’ve never had issues with the Scroll Location in like what you are mentioning here.
There is a bit of a write up on it here - Links | Sitely Documentation
As the documentation mentions, you can place them, but also generate them from the right-hand panel. But it is the other things you are describing it is doing that is totally strange. Do you have Layout Blocks on your page? You can also have your Layout Block become a “scroll location”.
Great idea in doing a test site, and if it is still doing strange things it is best to get hold of Duncan at feedback@sitely.app
