Had been using Blacksun and liked it. But they were taken over by a less friendly company.
Am starting a search for a new hosting company and am looking for suggestions.
Thanks in advance!

Any of the major hosting companies will handle Sitely-built websites without any issues from a technical perspective. So, your ultimate choice really comes down to reliability (uptime), cost and support. I personally use Namecheap, and have do so for a number of years. Their support is generally excellent with most issues being dealt with via their online chat. They have a good selection of monthly and annual packages ranging from basic 3 site hosting packages to more advanced dedicated servers. They also have a number of AI driven services for SEO and Social Media Marketing. Well worth checking them out.
I found InMotion really good. I moved to another provider in the Netherlands only because of the new hosts superior green credentials.
From my experience, the cheaper it is the nastier the service! But of course too high per month isn’t great either but are those prices for features that the average hostee does not need?
I can’t chip in with a supplier as I only deal with Australian Hosts.
This is the inMotion Starter deal…as Alfred E. Neuman used to say, “Cheap!”
Oh…and it renews at a mere $49.99/month! Buy two, they’re cheap!!!
HostMetro cheap hosting. unlimited websites good tech support, 3 year package is like $100. Based in Illinois. You buy your domain anywhere point to their servers. I’ve used them for almost 10 years.
Many, many years ago, it seemed that every site I moved to started hosting lots of spammers and ended up on blacklists that kept my own mail from being delivered. I finally switched to Hawkhost, and they’ve been very good. Not expensive. Very responsive any time I’ve had a question. And very good uptime. So I recommend them.
I just saw that you want a USA-company. Hawkhost is Canadian, if that’s an issue. But they have sites in Dallas, LA, and NYC.
