Is there a way to share popups across two regular pages, or even to home page after the site already has tens of pages?
You can copy and paste popups to as many pages of your website as needed. You just need a trigger on each page to display the popup if a specific trigger is needed.
Thanks @ Stephie and mega menus thankfully keeps popups that way.
I made an isolated popup on one of many pages, triggered by a click, to open a small popup box which contained a specific excerpt from a dictionary definition.
I copied the triggered word on the functioning page and tried pasting that triggered word on another page in the site. The word pasted normally, but it lost its trigger and the popup was not added to Layers. Nor does Layers seem to use copy-pasting from one page to another.
Nor does the ppopup list of available popups seem to contain the referred popup, (as it is seen on the originating, source page).
The source page kept its popup intact. Trying to drag and drop a popup from one site project window, to the latest site did not work, and the manual might describe the correct method somewhere, but where?
I think the simplest option is to open the popup on the original page. With the popup displaying, head over to the arrange panel and select the option to Show on all pages:
This won’t automatically display the popup on every page, but it will make it available on every page of the site. Then, on each page where you want the popup to display, add a link that targets the popup.
