EDIT: I found the solution and am leaving this for anyone who searches this in the future - you have to click on the smart field and there’s a dropdown, and you can select “Current Page”

I have two pages in a section. There’s a shared layout block that shows on all in that section that contains a smart field of page title. BUT… on BOTH pages it shows the title of the FIRST page, not the page actually in question. Not sure if I’m saying this in a way it makes sense but here’s a pic. Is this a bug or am I just totally misunderstanding the point here. Is there a way to accomplish what I wanted to accomplish?
