Is there a fix to the live feed option for instagram and facebook account feeds. Not sure if the security upgrades to Meta have made this a dead sparkle feature.
I sure wish we could find a fix for this! I’m doing a new site for a church and would love to have this embed feature working!
Sorry this is a bit too vague to understand what you’re trying to do. As far as I know the only feature that we haven’t removed that’s kind of dead are twitter timelines, that had stopped working but are still documented.
Sparkle never supported live streaming from instagram, because instagram doesn’t expose that. I’m not sure how Facebook does it, though I’m quite sure they want you to be on Facebook to view a live stream.
Either way please provide details and we can look at it.

Just as a follow up on this. I created a free account using the Behold.so app and the embed function in Sparkle and it seems to work fine… real time updates as well. The paid Behold subscription may be worth it for 60 dollars a year if you anticipate a ton of activity on your feeds.

The only negative is that the Embed function eliminates any appearance or design elements in Sparkle but the Behold interface has a pretty cool set of basic function and some customization to get you over the design aspects of an embedded html container…
