I see the modern website as the central hub to the spoked wheel. The aim of the game is that the website is the home and all traffic from varying sources needs to be directed too. As you mention part of those sources can be additional landing pages that can be further fine-tuned and tweaked to improved SEO and reaching the intended “client–market”.
Love the design example!
Great work @francbrowne, and love the website design @Girlwerks!
You’ve made an excellent point, @FlaminFig. Modern websites are evolving into dynamic hubs for digital and social media marketing, becoming integral parts of effective campaigns.
I recently worked on a project that perfectly illustrates this. We revamped a website for a clinical psychologist, which initially focused on the problems people faced and how therapy could help. This problem-focused approach wasn’t very effective in attracting clients since people generally don’t like to be reminded of their issues.
We took a different approach by redesigning the site using Sparkle. We created a series of minimalist landing pages, each resembling a home page, and focused on positive solutions rather than problems. This design allowed us to target specific social media groups with tailored messages. Each post linked to a relevant landing page offering comprehensive solutions. Additionally, we set up an automated system to post regularly to various social media platforms directly from the website.
The results were impressive: website traffic increased by over 600%, and the client list is growing steadily.
This experience demonstrates the value of creating websites that function like social media platforms. With Sparkle, you have the flexibility to design engaging, easy-to-navigate pages that resonate with users and effectively drive traffic. So, it’s something I think we need to think about and embrace.
Websites are not DEAD! It is the HQ of a business (and others) that are online and should be the focus in whatever is done to get clients back to their website! Here is where the online business has control over their potential clients, not social media!
Wesbsites are not dead at, they are changing. Without website, you do not exist, it is the pillar of your business, free 24/7 marketing.
My approach is to market positive solutions, give positive vibe, promote a benefit approach rather than a sell pitch.
Minimalist design, content that brings it to the point without blabla, content that builds trust.
@Frenchie I have a desktop only version of the page online that you can take a look at. Non of the in-page links do anything, but at least you can see the page.
