Tracking script Dealfront / Leadfeeder

Hello everyone, has anyone here successfully integrated Dealfront / Leadfeeder into a Sitely website?

I’m rebuilding a site (previously TYPO3) in Sitely and the client is using Dealfront (Leadfeeder) for website visitor tracking. I’m unsure about the best way to implement this properly in Sitely, especially regarding consent and script loading.

Did you add the tracking script directly in the head, or are you loading it through a consent tool (e.g. Cookiebot or similar)? And if so, how did you set that up with Sitely?

Would really appreciate any practical setup tips or pitfalls to avoid. :woman_shrugging:

Hi @Steffi, sorry never heard of it. Presumably it’s just like other tracking services?

If it has built-in consent management and, like Google Analytics, can operate both before and after consent, it can go in the page head. Otherwise the page head code does not subject the code you put to any privacy setting, so it becomes necessary to put it in an embed block, which can then be controlled by the privacy features (cookie banner etc).
