Hello, I would like to ask if anyone has tried putting two blogs on their site. I’m making a site for a married couple and they each want a blog on the site.
I will admit that this will be my first time doing a blog, so I have no experience with it. Can anyone advise me if this is even possible and if the indexes won’t clash?
Then I have one more question, but this will be more for the authors of Sitely, if in the future they are planning a feature with the blog that clients could operate it themselves without using Sitely. Very often clients ask me about this, that they would like to write blog posts themselves.
Yes @Josef you can have more than one Blog Index page containing the sub blog posts. It’s a clever feature of Sitely. From my experience the “indexes” do not clash.
I know us professional Designers have bagged out Canva (including me in the early days) but I have come to love it! So I have found a way to have my clients edit their website and blog posts via Canva!
I have a visual hi fidelity mockup of the pages and blog posts and using Canva text boxes the client can view the page and text boxes (for free) and edit them like they would on their website if it was editable. I then just do a copy and paste into the Sitely canvas and republish their website.
This has streamlined content editing for me and my clients!!!
Thank you very much for your reply and hope that this situation is resolvable.
Could I ask you to explain in more detail how you are solving this problem with Canva?
I don’t use this application much, as I have been working professionally with Adobe applications for 30 years and do everything I need to do in them. I am coming across Canva more and more often and I guess I have no choice but to look at it in more detail.
Thank you again very much for your reply.
