Just updated to latest version and now my website doesn’t up load. Made no other changes to set up. What’s happened ? Original connection settings are still there.
It seems to never upload pink bar stays low slowly uploading files and then says unable to upload page with the message FTP server address is incorrect or blocked and to check and no firewall or antivirus is blocking network access. I have made no changes since successfully uploading last week , just upgraded the software. any suggestions I need to update my site ASAP - I have now also been onto my hosting C panel and can see some files have uploaded but not the site pages so its not an accessing the host issue.
@duncan please can you help me with this. thank you - I have posted more details below.
As a temporary workaround, you could publish your site to disk and upload the published site via an FTP application, or do what I always do with site updates - compress the published files into a zip file. By doing this, you can upload the zip file to your site directory via your host’s cPanel file manager. You can then decompress the zip file using an option in the cPanel file manager. When using this option. its often best to delete the existing website files first - to ensure that you get a clean install on the server. The process is quick and simple - so if the update is urgent, this may be the way to go.
Email us the publish log (help menu) when the publish is stalled. Maybe that says something.
