I actually dig the name Sitely!
It feels more descriptive in what the product can do and is about.

Good luck to you both with your migration and hope it all goes smoothly for you!

Just some growing pain.

Hi, any news about the Black Friday 2024 ?

How can we use this function?, I can’t move the popup inside the layout block:
You can now place “normal” popups inside layout blocks or groups, allowing them to move along with the content.

It has to be both normal mode and not always on top. Basically a popup that’s “in the page” so to speak.

Duncan and team… we only care that Sitely carries on getting better and better with you and the team intact. Sparkle, Sitely or call it Muse if you want - it will always be about the product - which we love to bits.

Haha why didn’t we think of that, call it Muse, what could go wrong?

Couldn’t agree more. I think this is a name upgrade.

Great job Duncan and team on making lemonade out of lemons!

The app I fell in love with five years ago wasn’t just an app; it was like finding a partner who understood exactly how my mind works. Together, we’ve created and brought ideas to life in ways I never thought possible with any other WYSIWYG tools. Now that its name has changed to Sitely, I know it’s still the same app that makes my websites sparkle and serves as my muse, fueling my creativity. I embrace it as a new nickname for my lifelong companion on my web design journey.

Is there any way to get older projects to change the extension from .Sparkle to .Sitely?

And somewhat related, the App in the Finder is still called Sparkle; and when I rest my cursor on the App in the Dock it also says Sparkle.

Have you been to the Sitely website @spycoops to download the Sitely app?

@Spycoops
Noticed that too. Like to know how that can be solved. I just ran the update from within the “Sparkle”-app so not from the AppStore.

You can download a fresh copy of Sitely from our website:

https://sitely.app/dl

Unfortunately the auto-updater preserves the name you have (or well it’s a feature I guess).

I don’t know of a simple way of renaming project files, though we could look into adding a feature for that. I don’t know how well it works with appstore sandboxing, but it might be doable.
